(Your chosen company) has just hired you as its new vice president of strategic planning. The company’s recent performance, as well as changes in business and economic situations, will be a major emphasis of your new position.
The chief executive officer (CEO) to whom you report has already given you permission to engage a staff of recent Master of Business Administration (MBA) graduates to aid you in your efforts, given the size of the firm and the fact that it is in a highly competitive field. You recently finished the hiring process and hired four persons with little to no real-world business experience.
You and your team will be developing an entirely newand, presumably, more effectivestrategic plan in the coming months. You intend to start with a kick-off meeting with your team.
The length of the deliverable should be between 1,000 and 1,250 words.
You require each member of your strategic planning team to prepare a condensed version of the major aspects of a strategic plan in order to be confident that they comprehend all you’ve taught them. You assign each employee the task of preparing the following sections of a strategic plan for the next 3-5 years for the company:
Statements of Mission and Vision (It’s not permissible to simply replicate an existing genuine company.)
Goals & Objectives that are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Time-Bound (SMART)
Analysis of the Industry
SWOTT Analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats, and Trends)

The answer is complete. 50 points: The essay illustrates exemplary understanding of the relevant material by thoroughly and correctly addressing the relevant content; identifying and explaining all of the key concepts/ideas; using correct terminology explaining the reasoning behind key points/claims and substantiating, as necessary/useful, points with several accurate and illuminating examples. No aspects of the required answer are missing. Use of Sources (worth a maximum of 20% of the total points). Zero points: Student failed to include citations and/or references. Or the student failed to submit a final paper. 5 out 20 points: Sources are seldom cited to support statements and/or format of citations are not recognizable as APA 6th Edition format. There are major errors in the formation of the references and citations. And/or there is a major reliance on highly questionable.
